Dr. Smith has extensive experience with copyright issues, contracts, book publication and marketing, book and article preparation and submission, and other author and publisher issues. She has worked with large publishers (Dell, Simon & Schuster) and also has self-published six books, doing all work from writing to typesetting, layout, and preparation for the printer. Her books have been lauded by the Journal of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Midwest Book Review, and others. She has published articles in every major veterinary journal and magazine, as well as for several pet and horse magazines. Dr. Smith has also written and edited documents, web site content, video scripts, and papers for a variety of companies.
